About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will build scalable data pipelines that power analytics and AI. You will design robust ingestion, transformation, and monitoring layers across batch and streaming architectures.
You will collaborate with ML and product teams to ensure data quality, governance, and performance meet production requirements.
Responsibilities
- ✓ Design and implement batch and streaming data pipelines.
- ✓ Build data models and transformation workflows with strong data quality guarantees.
- ✓ Implement monitoring and alerting for pipeline health and SLAs.
- ✓ Optimize storage and compute for performance and cost.
- ✓ Collaborate with ML engineers on feature pipelines and training datasets.
- ✓ Ensure governance practices for data access, lineage, and retention.
- ✓ Write documentation for datasets, pipelines, and operational procedures.
- ✓ Support incident response for data-related production issues.
Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience building production data pipelines.
- • Strong SQL skills and experience with Python for data tooling.
- • Experience with one or more data platforms (Spark, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- • Familiarity with orchestration tools and scheduling patterns.
- • Understanding of data quality, observability, and governance basics.
- • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- + Experience with Kafka or streaming architectures.
- + Experience with modern transformation frameworks and analytics engineering practices.
- + Experience supporting MLOps/feature stores and ML workloads.
